WWI 6th Marine Regiment Painted Gas Mask Bag: I Need Thee In France Every Hour. Salty US M1917 box respirator carrier (no mask) with painted 2nd Division insignia on a red square on point indicating the 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment. Around and below the insignia: "I NEED THEE OVERHERE SOMEWHERE / IN FRANCE EVERY / HOUR."  Featured in Jane Kimball's reference on Trench Art, but I am frankly not 100% sold on the USMC insignia being original, so selling it as a decorative item only. Estimate: $80 - $120
